Duplex (double-sided) printing is now set as the default printing option on all lab computers. Many students requested this feature to be enabled in the spring 2007 printing
survey. Single-sided printing may be selected using printing options-- ask a lab consultant for assistance.
Dual Booting iMacs
Select main lab iMacs now dual boot to MacOSX and Windows.
Floppy and Zip Drives Are No Longer Available
Based on industry standards, the computer labs have phased out both floppy and Zip drives on the MAC and Dell PC formats. Read more about the changing trends in the computer industry here.
