Victoria Richmond

March 2007 Busch Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)

Sometimes we wonder when Victoria started as a consultant because she's such a skilled consultant and has learned everything so quickly. Her practical train of thought makes our jobs easy because whenever there's an issue, she's most likely already thought of the best way to deal with it. Her awareness of the floor is something we can all learn from. No matter how strong the storm is during busy hours, she never seems to miss any of her duties and always seems to help everyone in need. With all this in mind, it's crazy to think that she started out just last semester, with only one overnight shift! Speaking of which, Victoria is the consultant that never sleeps. Overnighters are the unsung heroes of the labs, and this month we highlight one of the sparkling individuals that keep the wheels of Busch Labs a-turnin' - during after hours too. Thanks Victoria! {kp}

Hasan Rizvi

March 2005 College Avenue Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)

During the busy hiring drive we had this month, Hasan took a step up and helped the lab out tremendously. He was constantly making sure the lab was functioning efficiently. With his cool and buoyant attitude, he would assist users, giving them the answers they needed, no matter how difficult the issue. Hasan eagerly would come to the management and offer his services to us. He also exemplified qualities necessary to be a good consultant. We would like to congratulate Hasan Rizvi on being named a Consultant of the Month. {mk,lw}

LeAnne Roberts

Fall 2006 Cook/Douglass Supervisor Achievement Award (Fall Semester)

Cook/Douglass' Supervisor of the Fall 2006 Semester is LeAnne Roberts. As our scheduling supervisor she did a tremendous job mastering the new Shift Requester and made sure that all the proper feedback was registered to assist the programmers in their efforts to perfect the new program. Even while the bugs were being worked out, LeAnne was instrumental in keeping the consultant schedules current as well as the open shift page updated. Largely due to her efforts, there were very few open shifts to deal with on a permanent basis-which meant one less headache for her co-workers to deal with.

Scheduling aside, LeAnne is a joy around the lab. She is a very interesting and talented individual who's constantly brainstorming new ideas. She brings in a unique sense of humor and can often be heard joking with fellow supervisors and consultants alike. Yet she has absolutely no problem talking to individuals who need fair-minded discipline. She always remains calm in a crisis and never jumps to conclusions. She'll think out a problem until she has the best solution and then runs with it. When she sees some problem in the lab that needs correcting, she'll see that its done each and every time consistently.

Considering that Cook/Douglass has as solid and dedicated a supervisory staff as any around Rutgers, it was no easy task to pick just one person from among them, but we absolutely feel that LeAnne deserves this honor and we are proud to name her Supervisor of the Semester for the Fall of 2006. Anthony Roselle

November 2002 Livingston Consultant of the Month (Fall Semester)

Anthony just started working in the Livingston Computing Center this semester. Thus far he has shown a very enthusiastic approach to the job. Anthony is very friendly with the lab patrons and his coworkers, helping out wherever he can. Anthony has also shown a great interest in learning new things around the lab. We expect this exceptional level of performance will continue in the months ahead. Congratulations Anthony. {cb}

March 2003 Livingston Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)

This is the second time Anthony Roselle has earned Consultant of the Month. He has continued his exceptional level of performance as well as seeking answers to the unknown. His sense of humor and pleasent attitude make him a pleasure to work with. Keep up the good work and congratulations. {mw, lw}

Daniel Rosen

September 2005 Livingston Consultant of the Month (Fall Semester)

Dan has proven to be quite an asset to the Livingston Computing Center during his first semester here. Always smiling and cheerful, Dan consistently performs his duties to the fullest extent without hesitating to lend a helping hand to fellow consultants. As early as his second shift with us, Dan was assisting new consultants as though he had been working here for months. Dan's excellent technical knowledge and the proficiency with which he assists patrons is greatly appreciated. Please join us in congratulating Dan as one of our Consultants of the Month! {tc, mm}

Ashley Rosenfeld

April 2007 Cook/Douglass Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)

On behalf of the Cook/Douglas management, I am very pleased to announce that Ashley is our Consultant of the Month for April 2007. Since she began working with us, she has always been a ray of sunshine in our labs. The flowers in her hair are always as big and bright as her smile. She tackles difficult problems with ease, takes emergency coverage almost every week, and keeps the lab environment super friendly. Another one of her amazing contributions to the labs is her artwork she puts on her white boards. Every semester she has drawn on almost every board, emphasizing the rules and regulations with familiar characters. Without her, the lab would truly be a boring and bland place. Congratulations Ashley, for all of your hard work and dedication! {lm}

Sarah Royston

September 2007 Cook/Douglass Consultant of the Month (Fall Semester)

This month, we have selected Sarah Royston for Consultant of the Month. Sarah is a new consultant this year and has already shown the Cook/Douglass Labs that she is motivated to succeed and help patrons enthusiastically. Her spunk and fun attitude are positive influences on all of the people around her. She is always volunteering to help the management by taking coverage or helping with special projects. Sarah does not neglect her duties a single moment while she works, arriving early and being sure to notify the incoming consultants of anything going on in the labs. She sets a great example for other new consultants with her determination and hard work. Please join us in celebrating Sarah on being selected as COTM for September! {lo, adr}

Cherlyn Russo

September 2006 College Avenue Consultant of the Month (Fall Semester)

Cherlyn is a veteran consultant that has returned highlighting the work ethic and values to which we expect our new consultants to aspire. Cherlyn has stepped up this month and been a guiding light for all consultants this semester. She was particularly helpful in getting many of the new consultants acclimated to their new work environment. She has taken on many coverages, maintains the lab in good order, and makes sure to enforce all policies. She always offers to help out in times of need. She is a dependable, trustworthy consultant and a great asset to the College Avenue Computing Center. Congratulations! [mk, lw]

Mark Ryan

February 2002 College Avenue Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)

Mark has demonstrated that he is one of the most dependable consultants at CACC. Punctual and professional, supervisors can always rely on him to arrive to his opening shifts on time and to consistently carry out his consultant duties, including checking the supply inventory at Satellite as well as troubleshooting and reporting repair issues. Mark's diligence and eagerness to assist supervisors make their jobs easier, and his technically proficient customer service is a benefit to all users. He also has a great sense of humor and a friendly personality, making him even more valuable to the labs. If Megan could, she would certainly award Mark a merit badge on behalf of the entire CAC management staff. {mm, tv}
