Although new to CCF, Grover has quickly adapted to the responsibilities of a consultant, excelling in many aspects of the job. He is constantly getting out of his seat to help others and is always ready to answer questions with a smile. He has learned the ways of the monitor station and greets all patrons with the same upbeat enthusiasm while remaining respectful and polite with his co-workers. Rohan Visuvasum
February 2003 Busch Consultant of the Month (Spring Semester)
Rohan consistently shows his outstanding work ethic while in the labs. While entering the ARC, he can often be found greeting users at the monitor station. Besides his friendly demeanor, Rohan has a great eye for people, food, and drinks trying to sneak their way into the lab. When the lab is really busy, Rohan is typically on his feet in the consultant area so that he has a better view of users as they come in and he can quickly resolve any problems that arise. In addition, his love for Macs helps his technical knowledge in an area many people lack confidence in. The Busch management greatly appreciates his customer service skills and proudly selects him as one of our Consultants of the Month.{ec,tm}
Spring 2004 Busch Supervisor Achievement Award (Spring Semester)
In general, Rohan is a quiet guy, but he says a lot with his actions. Whether it's checking to make sure that everyone has done their cleaning or coming in for an overnight, Rohan has been a major asset to Busch all semester. He puts in a tremendous effort and never complains. He makes suggestions for lab improvements, which shows he really cares about the workplace and the people. The spring semester is typically busy for supervisors, but Rohan took all of the responsibilities he was given without blinking. He is in charge of cleaning and hiring for Busch, and those are no small tasks. This semester, we started using the Cleaning program and there were a lot of kinks that Rohan had to sort out. Hiring at Busch this year went very smoothly, and we conducted more interviews than in the past. Rohan never seems to be in a bad mood and his constant smile is definitely contagious to those around him. Rohan has a great sense of humor and he is well liked by everyone. It is his positive attitude and dedication to the lab that makes us proud to have Rohan as our Supervisor of the Semester. {mnb, wll}
