Crab New Guest Account/Renewal Application Platform: Crab Level of Difficulty: Beginner Rutgers Main | OIT Main | NBCS Main | NBCS Documentation Main Accounts on the Crab system are reserved for faculty and staff who are affiliated with the University. Guest accounts are available for individuals who are conducting University business and are directly associated with the University, but are not officially on the University's payroll. A guest account can be requested by a full-time Rutgers faculty or staff member. This individual will be considered the University sponsor and will be expected to maintain contact with the guest. The signature of the sponsor's Dean, Director, or Department Chair on this form is required to authorize the appropriateness of the University guest account and the use of University resources for the guest's particular activity. To apply for or renew a guest account on the Camden faculty/staff system (crab), please complete the application form and submit it to Accounts, Computing Services, 121 Business and Science Building, Camden Campus (Fax: 856-225-6436). If you have questions about the application, please call 856-225-6674 or 856-225-6065 (back-up #) between 9:00 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. After the application form is processed, the new applicant will be notified by the account office and can create the account online at the following: http://www.crab.rutgers.edu/cgi-bin/rats.cgi.
