Check your e-mail address in the Rutgers On-line Directory, and verify it's the address at which you read your mail. If it is not, you can use the links provided to change your e-mail address. If it is set to the appropriate address, then you should contact your RAMS support.
In most cases, contact RAMS support with a complete description of your problem. However, there are certain cases in which nothing can be done. Most all of these cases are with students enrolled in one of the schools that has class offerings or facilities that span campuses. Because the nature of the notices may be a matter of public health or safety, and because RAMS adminstrators an't readily tell which members of that school will be on which campus at any given time, all members of that school are notified. An example the School of Nursing.
Rutgers University is legally required to make certain public
announcements to the students, faculty, and staff. Because of this,
you are not allowed to opt out of university mailings, nor are RAMS
administratorst permitted to opt you out because we cannot make appropriate
judgment about the nature of a list with regards to the university's legal obligations.
